Mini Carrot Cake Cups

Here is the recipe I did for my mom's Pampered Chef Party that she hosted for me. If you have kids this is a really good recipe to let them help you with and they will love it too. They are very good for having a snack when friends come over to visit or something like that. I hope you guys like them!!!

Ingredients:

Cups
1 pkg (9 oz/250 g) yellow cake mix

1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) allspice

1 egg

2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil

2 medium carrots, peeled, divided

Filling & Garnish
6 oz (175 g) cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup (175 mL) powdered sugar

1/2 cup (125 mL) thawed frozen whipped topping

Chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Spray each well of Mini-Muffin Pan with nonstick cooking spray. For cups, combine cake mix, allspice, egg and oil in Batter Bowl; stir until ingredients are moistened. (Mixture will be very thick.) Grate carrots then stir 3/4 cup (175 mL) of the carrots into batter; set aside remaining carrots for garnish. Using a small scoop, divide batter evenly among wells, filling wells about two-thirds full; bake 11-13 minutes or until cups feel firm to the touch.

2. Meanwhile, in clean Batter Bowl whisk together cream cheese and sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping. Spoon cream cheese mixture into resealable plastic bag; secure bag and set aside.

3. Remove pan from oven to Cooling Rack. Press tops of cups with lightly floured Mini-Tart Shaper to make slight indentations. Cool in pan 3 minutes. Carefully remove cups from pan; cool 5 minutes. Trim corner of cream cheese-filled bag; pipe filling evenly into cups. Garnish cups with chopped walnuts and reserved grated carrots, if desired.

Baby shower mini flower pots

So I've been working on making matching sets for parties and celebrations. For example, making invitations match with plates, napkins, decorations, candy, etc. Anyways, here is something I did for my friend's baby shower party a little while back. I bought small flower pots at hobby lobby and painted them to match the colors she was wanting to use (pink & brown). Her theme was a cowgirl theme so I bought this ribbon that looked like rope to go around the flower pot then some little pink bows to hide the patron where I connected them and also for decoration. I also got brown and pink m&m's (which are very expensive btw) to go inside the flower pots. Then to top it off I got some synthetic sunflowers to go inside the pots and glued the end of the stem to the bottom of the flower pot (of course this was done before putting the chololares inside). Anyways, here is the final product which I think it looks pretty freaking cute! The colors can be changed and the ribbon too of course, so it can kind of match whatever party it is you are doing. Little designs can be painted with stencils to make it look cleaner, but free hand is always fun too :) I hope you guys like the idea and any comments are appreciated!

Mini S'more Cups

Ok, so a little while back I made these s'more cups. they are like s'mores, but in a cup! haha duh! anyways, they are perfect for little kids or for a hubby with a sweet tooth. The best thing is that they are very inexpensive and fast to make. Depending on how perfect you want them to look, it took me about 1o-15 minutes to have them done! its a quick dessert you can have for a small party or having friends over. Anyways, here is the recipe if you guys wanna give it a try :) oh and try to eat in two bites, the marshmallow can drown your mouth with mushy sweetness if you eat it all in one bite hehehe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

7 whole grahm crackers (1cup/250mL finely crushed)
1/4
cup (50mL) powdered sugar
6 tbsp (90mL) butter, melted
4 bars
(1.55oz/43g each) milk chocolate candy, divided
12 large marshmallows

Steps:

1-
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Place graham crackers into a large
resealable plastic bag. Finely crush into crumbs. Combine graham cracker
crumbs, powder sugar and butter in batter bowl. using a small scoop,
place a scant scoop of crumb mixture in each cup of Mini-Muffin pan.
Press crumbs to form shallow cups with tart shaper (spoon can be used
instead). Bake 4-5 minutes or until edges are bubbling. Meanwhile, break
two of the candy bars into rectangles. Remove pan from oven; place one
rectangle into each cup.

2- Cut Marshmallows in half crosswise
professional shears dipped in cold water. place one marshmallow half,
cut-side down, into each cup. Return to oven 1-2 minutes or until
marshmallows are just slightly softened. Remove pan from oven to cooling
rack; cool 15 minutes. Carefully remove cups from pan. cool completely.

3-
break remaining candy bars and place in microwavable bowl. microwave in
high 1-1 1/2 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring every 20
seconds. Dip the top of each marshmallow in melted chocolate. turn
top-side up and let stand 40 minutes-1 hour or until set.

Warmer of the Month for January

Margot

So here is the warmer of the month for January. It is so beautiful! I mean the color is so marvelous its just ridiculous! the pearls shine when the warmer lights up and they look so pretty! it is like a very sophisticated  warmer but at the same time it is somewhat Gothic, and well I LOVE Gothic art more than almost any art. The scent of the month happens to be purple, which is my favorite color (besides black of course) and it is called "My Wish" it is a combination of Lavender, marshmallows and figs. It smells DELICIOUS, I get hungry every time I smell it :)

things are slow

So I signed up with The Pampered chef in April of 2010 and things were going slow but good. things got very very good towards the end of the year but then I decided to sign up with Scentsy in October of 2010 and that went by very freakin awesome!! I mean I had sales of the $1,000 every month!! which is amazing :) Anyways, I feel like I ended up kind of leaving Pampered Chef behind, which I do not wanna do!! but I feel like I'm running out of ideas!! I'm running out of people to host parties for me and of people who would even buy stuff from me :( anyways, any ideas??
